| Welcome to a new small publishing venture, and a true writers' cooperative. What We Do Rare Moon Press is run by its authors. Every facet of the operation, from editing to web design to promotion, is handled by the same folks who write our books. This does not preclude us being advised and aided by experts in each field, but decision-making remains with the writers. Our intent is to exist alongside of traditional publishers, rather than to replace them. Our authors have chosen to work with us because they enjoy a hands-on approach. We are organized this way to preserve an intimate family atmosphere, in the belief that it creates an excellent product. |
